Restaurants For Larger Parties
You need bigger restaurants for birthday parties, lunch meetings, baby showers, etc.
1. The Hammond Kitchen & Craft Bar
Vancouver – EastThe Hammond has spaces for large parties. Some are fairly private.
2. The Cedars Public House
Vancouver – Brush Prairie
Ample space at Cedars Public House.
3. Gustav’s
Vancouver – East
Several rooms and loads of tables. They have one of the more versital floorplans.
4. Amaro’s Table East
Vancouver – East
Amaro’s Eastside restaurant has an upstairs area that can accomodate a good size group.
5. Salty’s on the Columbia River
Portland – North
They have a few different areas in the restaurant and you can’t beat the view.
6. Portland City Grill
Portland – Downtown
Not cheap but it’s a big joint AND it overlooks the city.
7. Mother’s Bistro & Bar
Portland – Downtown
They’re in Embassy Suites Hotel and have a few spots for larger groups.
8. Island Cafe
Portland – North
Seasonal eatery on the water with lots of tables inside and out.
9. The Cove
Vancouver – South
Fab river/marina view. One of the more upscale restaurants in Vancouver. Good indoor and outdoor seating. If weather permits sit on their spacious patio.
10. Who Song & Larry’s
Vancouver – South
Savory Mexican food with a wonderful view of the river. Good seating indoors and outdoors. Free parking lot.
11. Twigs Bistro
Vancouver – South
Superb river view. Good indoor and outdoor seating. Menu has a wide range of food to choose from. Their drinks are decent. Kid friendly. Parking can be challenging.
12. Waterfront Taphouse
Vancouver – South
Located above Twigs. They serve simple but well presented food and drinks. The bar has an excellent selection of base spirits.
13. McMenamins on the Columbia
Vancouver – South
Long time Vancouver favorite with a wonderful river view. A nice walking trail is behind the restaurant. They have good indoor and outdoor seating. The beer selection is decnt but only basic cocktails. Kid friendly. Parking in their free lot is challanging during peak hours.
14. Leonardo’s Pizzaria
Vancouver – East
One of the best pizzarias on this side of the river. Their spicy sausage is legit. Their beer selection is decent. I’m getting hungry just writing this. PRO TIP: They have a separate side room that’s great for large parties. It seats about 50.
15. Cecilia
Vancouver – South
Cecilia has a room behind their kitchen that can be rented for a private function. Looks like it seats 32.
16. Ondus on the Waterfront
Vancouver – Waterfront
Ondus is in the AC Marriot Hotel. They have a room that can be either under their banqueting department as a private room or through the restaurant off the regular menu if the party is one check and it may not be considered private.
