Portland Mercury Burger Week 2026

Portland Mercury Burger Week is an annual event in which restaurants, food trucks, and carts sell specialty burgers for just $10. These burgers are not part of their regular menus. Instead, they are limited-time promotional creations available only during the event.

Participating restaurants pay a fee to be included. Not only is there little to no profit on these burgers, but many restaurants actually lose money by participating. The goal is to attract new customers and encourage them to return.

For customers, these $10 burgers are a fantastic value. However, if the featured burger isn’t available after the event—even at a higher price—it does make you wonder what incentive there is to come back. Regardless, the list of participating restaurants grows larger every year. The inaugural Burger Week took place in 2013 with just 12 restaurants. Last year, 102 eateries participated. In 2026, the list has grown to more than 120, so something must be working.

As you’d expect, most of the participating businesses are on the Oregon side of the river, but six Vancouver restaurants are taking part: Bless Your Heart, The Diner, Cecilia, Amaro’s Table Downtown, Gray’s Restaurant and Bar, and Loowit Brewing.
